(Former Sophie Emma Mikkelsen)

I am a postdoctoral researcher based at Charles University in Prague with Réamonn Ó Buachalla as my host. This is funded by a Carlsberg Foundation Internationalisation Fellowship.

I obtained my PhD in 2021 from the University of Southern Denmark under supervision of Wojciech Szymański and David Kyed.

Upcoming talks

IWOTA 2023 in the special session Noncommutative Geometry, July 31- August 4, 2023, Helsinki

Geometry and analysis of quantum groups 2023, Nov. 6-10, 2023, Oslo

My research interests lie in the area of noncommutative geometry and graph C*-algebras

I have been working on different topics related to both algebraic and analytic theories of noncommutative geometry such as compact quantum groups, Hopf algebra theory, graph C*-algebras and their classification, including the use of computer techniques.
My research has spread from conjugacy of graph C*-algebras to classification of quantum lens spaces, KK-equivalence of quantum projective spaces and both purely algebraic and C*-algebraic properties of quantum spaces related to quantum fibre bundles.
