Sophie Emma Zegers

I am an assistant professor in the Analysis research group at the Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft).

Previously I was a postdoctoral researcher funded by a Carlsberg Foundation Internationalisation Fellowship with the first year at Charles University in Prague and the second at TU Delft.
I obtained my PhD in 2021 from the University of Southern Denmark under supervision of Wojciech Szymański and David Kyed.

My research interests lie in the area of Operator Algebra Theory and Noncommutative Geometry and specialises in the interplay between noncommutative analogues of classical spaces, known as quantum spaces, and graph C*-algebras.
